Coming From an Insight and Providing an Insight

Most ads try to come from an insight, but not all ads try to provide insight. This Jim Beam ad starring Willem Dafoe isn't just about Jim Beam. It's about the choices we make and how not all choices are equal. Only the bold choices "take you where you're supposed to be." We're suppose to take away that choosing Jim Beam is one of those bold choices. Is it? I'm not sure, but I definitely respect the brand a little more for his great spot.

"Life's not just about the choices you make. It's about the choices you don't make."
